Does it really matter?

Does the type and brand of DVD +RDL matter? Is that why my batman game boots up but fails to load the menu and freezes?

Re: Does it really matter?

There are a few reasons why, cheap discs are crap. Which brand are you using?

Re: Does it really matter?

You could try burning with IMGburn, have you made sure everything was set right?

Not sure which is the prefered brand for 360 backups but Verbitam's are one of the best brands around.

Re: Does it really matter?

Verbatims are used because they are made by MKM, or Ritek.
These brands do not MAKE their media, those other people do.

I have Verbatim, two different labels, and two different MFRs: RITEK, and MKM, both worked with backups.  You can use DVD InfoPro, or DvdDecryptor to see the MFR ID.   Use any disk that is made by MKM or RITEK, and that includes some Memorex brands.
