If you would READ any information posted here, in the MENU section, you would know the answer.  Besides, it's pretty COMMON knowledge as to why THAT does not work.  The DVD drives are KEYED to the console, so you cannot use another drive in another console without flashing IT with your console's KEY. This is common, low level knowledge. 

On top of THAT, you even said YOU FLASHED the other one?  SO, you mean to tell us, that you forgot about the whole KEY part of that process?  You didn't bother to read, or see WHY you need the KEY, and what would happen if you flashed it WITHOUT the key?  Well, if you flash without a KEY, it won't read ANY game discs, copies OR originals...  Sound like what's happening RIGHT NOW with the SWAP?

SO, you voided a 1-year unconditional replacement, and 3-year 3LOD and E74 warranty on a new Jasper console because, why?  You can't remember what you did, or can't SEARCH a little bit for some information prior to acting?  The information is OUT there to help people, and to help prevent these common mistakes.

I say this, in part because; people BLAME M$ for problems, and people having to buy a NEW console, which everyone says it's a CONSPIRACY to get people to BUY a new console for them being banned, 3LOD, E74, and so on.  Here you are, ripping open a brand new Jasper, for no reason what-so-ever, which you always risk breaking something when you do that.  SO, now you're stuck with a brick if you need the warranty within the next three years.  You'll bitch at M$ for not honoring it, when YOU voided it for no reason at all.  They have severely cracked down on returns, with ANY signs of tampering, they send it right back.   You spend $199.99, and will have to spend it AGAIN, because you no longer have a warranty.   You can probably get away with returning it to the STORE within the 30-90 days (or if you bought an extended warranty), but after that, you're screwed, because M$ will not accept it.
