1. The first time my drive was flashed was about an year ago by the shop Ive bought from it the xbox. I think they flashed it to 1.4 and I dont have the key.
2. few days ago I flashed my drive by myself to 1.6 (without going back to the original firmware because I dont have this backup). before I flashed to 1.6 I saved the *.bin file jungleFlasher read from the drive (backup 1).
3. every thing worked fine like this (1.6).
4. I downloaded 1.61 (about a week ago, before the new version of jungleFlasher was published) and decided to flash my drive again. I did exactly what I did before (did a backup again - backup 2) but this time - nothing works.
5. I tried to flash again back to 1.6 (I tried three times - one with backup 1, one with backup 2 and one with the bin of ixtreme 1.6 that I used before) - nothing.
Now, my xbox drive isnt acting like its an xbox drive. When Im inserting a disc, even wave2, it cant read it.
WHAT CAN I DO?

Without the KEY, games will not work. If you don't have it, then you can't do ANYTHING, you made yourself a media player, or door stop, take your pick... You should have left it alone! If you would have read a tutorial, the part where the KEY is involved, you should have STOPPED immediately, knowing you don't have it
-OR-
Started from Step 1, and extracted the firmware and got the key, like you were doing this for the VERY FIRST time. If you did not extract the key, and why you would not do that KNOWING you don't have it, is beyond reason.
Plain and simple, no KEY, no WORK, EVER...

I didnt get the key after the store has flashed it to 1.4, but still i managed to flash my drive to 1.6 and everything worked fine!
I saved the bin the jungleFlsher has read from the drive, doesnt it contain the key?
anyway, after i read the drive the key box has been filled. this box is still filling when i read the drive. Doesnt it the same?
if ill load the bin i saved, doesnt it supposed to load the previous key?

As long as you got the Key, then it's all fine. The Key never changes, it is YOUR key, which matches the KEY in the CPU Vault. When you made your first post, you said:

You made it READ like you didn't have, or even get your Key, which lead to my response.
If it's all working now, good...

How you got the impression that its working now? ![]()
Its not :\
I think I dont fully understand what this key is.
When the xbox's drive is identified in JungleFlasher it asks me to read from it. Then, there is a key that being written in the text box and I need to load the new iXtreme and spoof the key.
This is the key we are talking about right? because i spoof it evenry time i dont think it has changed, and even if it did, I backed up the time it worked (1.6) so it means that the key is fine in this backup.
Am I getting it ll wrong?

You don't spoof the key... Spoofing would be; you have a BENQ drive in the Xbox. You buy a Samsung to use/flash instead, and the firmware SPOOFs it meaning, it reports to the console as the BenQ. The KEY would still be the same, extracted from your original drive to be used in the SPOOFED drive. The KEY NEVER, EVER CHANGES.
If you do not understand what the Key is, then you did not read anything, and, won't get anywhere.
