I just got my first 2 drives. A BenQ and a Hitatshi D47.
Ive followed alot of videos about how to flash the firmware on the drives, and everything seems to go like it should. (using JungleFlash + firmware for the drives) But when I put a game in the drive, it just sees it as a Video DVD.
When I try to play it, it either starts the video player, or sayes "Play this disc in a Xbox 360" (This is what I'm trying to do
)
anyone that can help me out? I'm starting to get a bit fustrated ![]()

Either your backups are incorrect, or you did not put the KEY in the firmware.
IF it is doing this on originals, you missed a step somewhere, probably the KEY.

If I missed the key - can it still be fixed, or is it lost?

when you backed up your old firware this contains your key if you have not got this your screwed!

Well... I guess my BenQ drive is out of the question then. its all "77777" - and I might just have deleted the .orig - can I use another drive ind that xbox360? I mean, if I buy a new benq drive for this xbox it will work - but not if it use the Hitatshi drive.

If you do not have your KEY, no drive will work.
