Imitation CK3 Pro connectivity kit any good?
I found this kit on Ebay

and wondered if anyone has had any luck with these imitation kits? I really don't want to shell ot the $60-$75 for the authentic kit from CK3 if I don't have to.

There is no Key Probe in that auction, the picture only shows the connectivity kit. That is the one you connect to your PC's serial port for the key, not the probe. ASK the seller to be for SURE man, that picture does not show a PROBE, but a serial to USB adapter.
* Works with any COM port including USB to serial adapter
Then, in the detail it says "This is designed for customers who do NOT have access to Serial/COM port."
The detail is not clear on what you get.

You should have contacted the seller and asked for more info before buying it. He wasn't very specific with his details
