First off i'd like to say nice website! I am currently deployed to Iraq in the US Army. There is a local Iraqi shop that flashes xBox 360s here and I took my brand new 360 Elite to them to get flashed, I hadn't even taken it out of the box yet. And they broke it (donno details i never got it back). They gave me back everything but the console, and gave me a flashed white xbox. How can I find out what version it is?

Also, I want to be able to flash my own xbox, but my computer is a Netbook here so no PCMCIA slot to get a SATA card. I was wondering if I could flash with the Xecuter Blaster and the 360 USB through my USB port on my Netbook?

the only way is to open it. its takes seconds to open your box and as its been modded warranty is all ready void so just open it and let us know what the drive is then we can tell you all you need to know for that drive.

Also i wanna thank the noobie guides on these forums as i have now successfully flashed the firmware on my Hitachi 79fl and I did it all with out creating an account asking the same questions you guys have probably heard a bazillion times!
