You're off topic; this has to do with people having to buy consoles to replace their BANNED ones.  Wave 4 is specific to a new method of making the discs, which just adds the NXE update to the partition that the other waves are.

Lets boil this down to what a working person actually gets to spend, after MANDATORY expenses and taxes, ok?

Say you gross 3000.00 a month?  Here is what's taken BEFORE anything else:

Federal - $445.00 (100% refundable if you make under 24000.00 a year
State     - $92.10 - non refundable once your kids hit 17 years old, and have to have THREE or more
FICA    - $186.00 - non refundable
Medicare - $43.50 - non refundable

That totals 766.60 right off the top almost 1/3rd of your pay; leaving you with $2233.40 to spend, right?  No...

OK, now lets add the 1% School Tax = 30.00, you're down to 2203.40
Lets add the 1% local (wage) Tax = 30.00, your down to 2173.40
Rent or Own, you pay those every month, or at the end of the year.

Do You Own a home?  Well, lets take 127.00 a month more in insurance, MORE school tax, and property tax, now you only have about, oh lets say $2046, lets drop the 40 cents.

You have A garbage bill, water bill,  sewage bill, refuse bill, all with state and federal taxes in them.

You gotta eat right?

Then you have some utility bills that have what's called a Gross Receipts tax. The GR tax is supposed to be for companies that TRANSPORT the utility, not the customer that consumes it, so where's our protection from that?  That's 2.5% added, which is 5% to the utility company, they pass HALF that on to you!, on to your Gas and Electric bills; plus other federal taxes are included.  I am surprised the phone company doesn't do it, but they PAY it. I am supposed to pay the 5% GRT as a phone company, but I am not transporting it to my payphones; I don't pay it, and all PSPs are in litigation over it.

Then, We have a 6% sales tax, 7% in one county, ONE county pays for the shitty baseball team, can we say RAPE again?

TAX upon TAX upon TAX; and we're still broke, we still have people living in the streets, with starving, and committing crimes to survive.  Taxes line the pockets of the politicians, no one else.  Then, the prices go UP and UP every year, but the service and quality DOES NOT!

IF we did not have TAXES like we do, there would be more money filtered into the economy.  How can there be money in the economy, when 47% of your money it is taken, and used by a government that produces NOTHING for the people, and nothing for the economy. If we could get back even HALF of that 47% they steal from us, the economy would be much better, and people would start contributing to the society we live in.

All said and done?  I get maybe, MAYBE 250.00 month to totally waste, in any way I see fit.  That's money that has to go into the economy.  If I don't have it, they can't get it.  With half the taxes gone, I would get 750.00 a month to blow, and that means I spend in stuff I want.  I do good now, I save for months to get a new PC, or two..  But people struggle, because we have our hands tied up in taxes upon taxes.  Some months?  I have NOTHING left over, but always enough for a case a beer every Friday...
