a friend wanted me to look at an xbox that someone had given him. the guy it came from said he found it in a dumpster when the circuit city here closed down. it was originally giving the RRoD(3 lights) with error code 0102 so i tried the llama method of the x-clamp fix. i got it back together enough to try to power it on but it doesnt get any power at all. the psu led stays orange and doesnt even flicker but the same psu works on another xbox in the house. the xbox is an elite manufactured on 6-30-07 and still had the warranty sticker on it(he said he didnt want to send it to MS...). ive done quite a few x-clamp fixes but have never ran across this problem after install. any one have any idea what could cause it?
