Batman: Arkham Asylum Sets Guinness Record
awarded 'Most Critically Acclaimed Superhero Game Ever.'
Guinness announced this morning Batman: Arkham Asylum has become 'Most Critically Acclaimed Superhero Game Ever' due to its average Metacritic score of 91.67, surpassing Marvel vs. Capcom 2 for Dreamcast which averaged a score of 90.
"We are so pleased to be awarding Batman: Arkham Asylum a Guinness World Record," said Gaz Deaves, Manager at Guinness. "It is a fantastic new game and due to the reaction of gaming experts we believe it has a well deserved place in the Guinness World Records book,"
Hopefully this news sparks Capcom to want to make Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

Only the demo on Xbox 360 & PS3, I thought it was pretty entertaining, personally I'll be getting it for the PS3 because of the added value.

Im at the part where you just defeated Killer Croc. Game is pretty awesome so far

360 version to have DLC later on? They always leave the games open for downloaded content, strange that they would eliminated that from a game... Maybe later, who knows...

They must be offering DLC at some point, why would they not and give the PS3 someting extra? that would just alienate xbox360 gamers surely.

Why will it alienate Xbox 360 gamers? surely you've noticed that Xbox 360 gets exclusive GTA DLC that PS3 owners do not! the fact of the matter is that they announced EXCLUSIVE DLC for the PS3 version, which in this case is to also play as the Joker himself.
It's added value to a game that costs exactly the same on both consoles, so why not get the one that offers more?

I feel that there is greater motivation playing a game on the xbox 360 because you get achievements.-It keeps you occupied long after you have beaten a game and it is proof that you have done something cool. It also provides evidence for an event.
xbox gets more dlc than ps3 on average. like fallout 3 and gta 4.

Because to get the one one that offers more, I would have to also buy a PS3, I know quite a few people have both consoles, but i suspect that most do not. I can see the point of a game being totally exclusive to one format, but not DLC for one and not the other. I was unaware that GTA had DLC for xbox and not PS3.

hen - the PS3 has got an achievement feature, it's called Trophies. I get the 'Achievement' statement and agree totally that it does add a lot of value to your games, I myself am a achievement junkie and proud of it 
Adders - I know what you mean, but I didn't mean a Xbox 360 gamer should go out and buy a PS3 just over a game that has 1 extra feature, that's ridiculous. I was talking on a personal level, I have 2 Xbox 360s, 1 PS3 and a dust collector......... sorry I meant a Wii.
So to me when it gets to buying a game I have to check my options on both consoles and only then decide which is the best choice.
