heres the deal.

two xbox 360's one at my house, one at the bar we put a projector in.

at the bar we rock out to some karaoke/rock band/guitar hero etc.

i keep bringing my HDD from home and plugging it into that XBox at the bar so we can play all the extra songs i've paid for and downloaded to my HDD at home and also to access my progress and unlock accomplishments in guitar hero.

this is becoming a pain in the ass. How do I work around this issue? can I somehow save my game accomplishments and song downloads to a 256mb card then plug it into the xbox down at the bar and then from their save it to that HDD?

or do i need to clone the harddrives somehow. signing into live as my username when i'm their is fine as i realize this will be needed, but what i really need is the unlocks from the games and the add-ons songs that are on my HDD.

if a clone is the solution.... can anyone recommend an easy process to do this?

Why did you post this in TWO locations? Did you read the site rules, NEWBIE?

The other one was deleted, and your post count reset.

You can't do that legally, and you can be banned for doing it. They will reset your stats to ZERO if they catch you.

That is not a big IF, they are looking out for this stuff now. If both Xbox360s happen to be on (just connected to the internet) at the same time? BOTH risk banning, and BOTH gamer scores will be reset to ZERO. It is called FRAUD.

It is not a solution to a PROBLEM, you do not have a problem, you want to commit fraud; but you probably will have a bigger problem soon after. In any case, you should be able to use Xata or Xport to backup a HDD, then restore it to another. Or, use 360Explorer, and connect the drive to a SATA port and power, backup and restore as well.

There are no guarantees at all.

Oh, and before you ask, they BOTH have to be the same size drive for a backup and restore, for it to work.

k thanks for the help. hmm.... perhaps i wont even bother then. i realize ur concerns about fraud and its a valid concern. but isn't this an entire forum dedicated to just that. hacking the xbox 360. flashing firmware/installing modchips/ripping games and running backups/cloning drives/ etc.

kinda the pot calling the kettle black wouldn't you say? seems to my judging by your posts on here that you live for this.

Yeah, but its not called Xbox360 Pirate & Fraud Fest... Then, you come to post, and ADVERTISE you want to comit fraud, so you leave a paper trail, that's bright, huh?

I am am not the proverbial Kettle, so I don't call anyone black. There are ways to ask questions, rather than having the blunt thief mentality about it. I have THREE unmodded Xbox360s, I work, and I BUY my games, so I am not Mr. Kettle at all.

I may mod the 3rd 360 I got for $30.00, but who knows...

Also, you double posted, AGAIN, read the rules NEWBIE! -1 post count.
