COD4 broke my xbox?
For awhile now ive been playing exclusively COD4 on my xbox. When i tried to pop in Guitar hero 3, it wouldnt read. I thought it was a fluke since i played it the day before, so i tried again, still wouldnt accept it. So i tried all 13 of my other games and none of them worked. The only ones that currently work are guitar hero 2 and COD4. Is this a disc drive problem? If it is then why does it still take COD4 and guitar hero 2? I still have my bestbuy warranty so i can go get a new one free of charge but i really dont want to go through that hassle.

If you talking about the xbox that you can get exchange free of charge then I say go ahead and do it.

well i went to best buy today and they were closed because of easter but im just puzzled why it would play 2 games but not any others. weird

What exactly does it say, anything? All original games are the same media, so yeah, it is strange that it only plays two original games, and not the other ones... I was thinking maybe a HDD cache or game save issue, but who knows. Your HDD isn't full is it? Just wondering..

Nope my Hdd has about 4gigs free. and i already cleared the cache. this is really bugging me haha
as for what it does it will either say
"To play this disc, put it in an xbox 360 console"
or
"Open tray"

EDIT- it stopped accepting guitar hero 2. now it is only taking cod4

Well man you have to go through that hassel if you want your Xbox to fix the mystery of yours... its a rare problem i think... and i think you have to exchange it with a new one until the warranty is still there... so that they will replace it with a new one ... best of luck man...
