Greg has tweaked the sites a little, added caching and things. It should be faster, and no real lag times. Server load was reduced a lot with the enhancements. Please reply with your experiences.

Agreed. I'm on a 45K mobile connection, and page load time is practically non-existant!

Whoa that sucks. Is PS3-hack on the same server?

Cricket offers a 40.00 a month flat rate Cell Internet, that's a LITTLE faster that the 45K one... You got to pay 60.00 for the adapter, but the first month of service is free... I think it's 35.00 a month if you already have a Cricket phone.
Their AD says broadband speed for dial-up cost, but there is no dial-up that's $40.00 anymore, at least not in the USA. You can save save an additional $5 per month when bundled with a Cricket unlimited voice plan. They say it is with unlimited broadband access; you can email, surf and download from virtually anywhere in Cricket's coverage area; but, bandwidth throughput may be limited if use exceeds 5GB per month. Requires new activation and up to $25 activation fee.
They also say you can't use it for VOiP, Sharing (routing), and for a Web Server.
Cricket uses the EVDO Rev 0 system, which is slightly slower than the big guys - expect speeds of 500-700 kbps/sec (62.5KB/s - 87.5KB/s). But on the other hand, according to Cricket, it's really, truly unlimited. There's no semi-secret 5-gigabyte cap, but they advertise it as such.
