there should be a phreaker section and a ham section on the dash hacks network! i mean some of us are phreakers (telecomminication hacking) and some of us are ham phreaks (radio wave people) i mean that would be cool.

p.s. if you do make a phreaker section, i wanna be a moderator, nobody knows more about phreaking than me! i was in it since the release of the 2gen cell phones (the non chuncky phones that had the black and while screens)

We used to know all about phone phreaking, and we know people who have been picked up by the Feds. I made my own Silver Box once... It's so old now, is there any real use for it? Besides NEW technology and so on? I know what people are doing with Cell phones, but as far as Land Lines, it's pretty bottled up; and with VoIP, there's even less use for Phreaking.

way to put me down Powerslave and i mean, if someone could event a portable cell tower, we can eventualy make a control center and we all should know what that means...................FREE CALLS!!!!! i mean it would be phreaker heaven! i have been doing research about this for about a month and it can be done with analogue airwaves (so what they can be easily hacked? come on we have been using them for what.....almost like 10 years?!) i still say we should have a phreaker section, why limit the dash hacks network to only game consoles? there are only so many of those and only so many people own a psp, ds, 360, ps3 or a wii and i bet almost all legal aged adults (18) have a cell phone! i have 3!!!! 1 for business calls (from my summer job) 1 for personal calls, and 1 for important calls or emergency calls. not saying i carry all 3 with me, im not that big a loser
and about the voIP, nothing is 100% secure, everything has a crack, we just have to wait until its descovered and then let the phreaking begin!

Exactly as you put it, rocketguy, what you're doing is just spamming the forum with posts such as "I have the same problem," without giving any information. Come to think of it, you have yet to contribute to anything but spam.

Now that I'm done with the hate, let's go back on topic. As Powerlslave mentioned, it'd be very useless to include these, specially considering that they're quite outdated. I can see a reason to replace the iphone with general cell phones, but that's about it.

The "I have that problem too" statement doesn't help anybody at all. Leaving it just like that only leaves questions for us to ask and assumptions to be made, so when we either ask or suggest something, we get attacked for being useless and pointing out something obvious. That could be prevented if at least some detail is given.
