does it matter what type of dvd DL you use... like + or -?

You have to use +R DL for older firmwares, and you must bitset (change booktype) to DVD-ROM. Your burner has to support it as well. The newer firmwares allow more expansive media use.
hi. what burner did you use? asi dont wanna mess up but dont wanna pay $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ for one.
thanks.

Does this trick work on unmodded xbox 360s? The tutorial never explained if a mod chip or something was needed.

Nothing works on an unmodded XB360, you must flash the DVD drive firmware or buy a DVD Drive modchip.

I grabbed my xbox 360 mod chip from http://<Removed>.com/XBox_360_Mod_Chips.html but after I purchased I realized that I didn't really need it. The unlock key helped though as well as the connectivity kit, not too mention the support team there.

Well the blaster 360 is the best modchip ever and if u use it on an Elite you can Flash it with no problems easily. The Blaster 360 also makes it so u can have you microsoft warranty even after opening te box once, if u didnt damage the sticker...

Thanks youtube, you guys are assholes... how can a video someone makes with their own frikkin video camera infringe on a copyright?
I guess its just software companies trying to protect their business - but it still pisses me off.

They had taken down a lot of video tutorial related to modding/backing up games off YouTube, thank BehroozAraz for his contribution - thread closed.
