These are the basic rules for the forums. Breaking of these rules will result in a warning and/or ban from the forum. It is up to the moderator/administrator to decide the punishment, depending on the severity of the crime.

DO NOT POST YOUR KEY, EVER! It can be used with the Infectus or Timing Attack methods to unban a console. Then if it is banned again, so will yours be. You have been warned!

USER ID Rules:
In most cases, you may not have more than one User ID per IP address. The only exception is, if two members in the same household are logging in. Multiple user IDs on one IP, the latter user ID logged, is typically removed or banned. You must explain to administration as to why there will be, or are, two User IDs attached to the same IP address. If you are doing this because you FORGOT a password to another account? Use the FORGOT PASSWORD feature (you can disagree to the rules to abort now). If that doesn't work because you are not using that same EMAIL address, then use this opportunity to get your password changed, and emailed to you by the administration of the forums, or to delete the one you forgot and use this one (you lose your previous stats).

ISO Rules
ISO talk and ISO loaders ARE allowed in this forum, however, piracy is not. Do not ask for help on burning pirated games/ISOs. Do not post links, or torrent links to piracy sites, or files; and, do not ask for where to pirate/download from. Do not ask how to burn, or use ISOs you downloaded, or copied from somewhere/someone else. This is a big and easy rule, that most new users break on their very first post; Don't break it! Any posts that break this rule will be deleted.

SIG RULES
You are allowed one (1) image/animation in your signature, and this image may only be up to 800x150 in dimensions. The max size is also 1500kb (1.5MB). Remember that there ARE dial-up and slow broadband users on this forum.
Are you a dial-up user? Click on the Profile link at the top of the forum, choose Display on the size, and uncheck the following boxes: Show Smilies as graphic icons, Show user avatars in posts, Show images in posts, Show images in user signatures. Your browsing will speed up a lot!

POST RULES
Your posts must have REAL content. Just quoting yourself is not allowed, unless it is appropriate. Just posting one word replies, such as "owned!", "pwned!", or "lol" will result in a warning. Do not post the same message in more than one forum. Double posting does not mean more people will read it, and all you will do is aggravate everyone. One of your duplicate posts will be deleted if found, and your post count reduced per incident. Do not post a message, then post another one 4 minutes later, half hour later, and so on. Wait at least a day before saying "What? No help?", or that you are upset that no one responded. If you must post additional comments, or information, then EDIT your post and add to it with a time stamp.

Language & Content
Also try to keep the language/adult content to a minimum. There are users under the age of 13 on this forum, keep it appropriate; and any racial slurs will result with an immediate two week ban, or permanent ban if it was a direct attack on a user. If you have a problem with someone, take it to PM, or PM Administration about it.

Rumor control
There have been many fake videos floating around the net. These were made by people that either have too much time on their hands or just generally suck at life.
While it is allowed to think what you will, posting links to such videos, claiming you have done something you haven't, or trying to convince others that these obviously fake videos are real, will result in a ban.
Remember that every time a fake video is released, it just kills the XB360 scene even more. Stop doing it!


These rules are just an outline. You may be banned, or warned for a rule that does not exist here. Use your common sense, and have fun! The moderator staff will warn you with minor offenses, and all you will need to do is correct, fix or comply, to avoid an immediate ban.

Try and use the SEARCH function before asking a question, as it may have already been answered (a million times). Simply search on a few key-words you are looking for. Like "timing attack" - Search in the title only, to narrow down the search, or message body for broader results.
