Hi my xbox is banned can I still record my saved games on my HDD?and what if I buy a nem HDD will I be able to copy my games to the HDD?

and also another pertinent question I have is I use verbatim dvds to play my backups won´t the use od buned dvds verbatim sooner or later damage the lens of my xbox?

Another litle thing I do not have de drive dvd key, when i want to update the firware will i need it?is there anyway I can recover the dvd drive key?

Allright I got it I can not copy the games to my HDD, and I can not recover the key.But the question is am I screwed?

My firmware 1.6 at some point in time will not be able to play games anymore?

even original games?

or that I will be always games that do not have the wave thing or there will be always nice guys that make wave patcher?

NO, not really; IF it is a native 720p game, NO. Xbox has a separate scaler (ANA, and HANA) chip, the GPU does not handle the scaling of the graphics, only NATIVE resolution, to be simplistic.

Wow are you that worried about it? Did you know turning your xbox on send electricity shooting through it? And unless you unplug it when you're done it always has some juice running around in there. That creates heat...better refrigerate your room to about 40 degrees F /sarcasm

Yeah........I´m a little bit afraid of 3rl......microsoft basterds...........I don´t play more than 90 minutes I keep the xbox in a place with good ventilation, and after playing I always leave it for five minutes in dashboard.........but I´m still afrid of that shit frying........do you have any advise for me?

When you put it (your HDD) back on your Xbox360, it will say the game is INVALID. This was said my Major Nelson himself, and I have posted this information already. The NAND flash is what's altered to cripple the XBOX360, which is why there is a FIX if you have the technical inclination to do so.

Man, It seems you have no desire to learn this stuff your self and only want direct prechewed answers so im gonna help you.

Your hard drive is fracked, throw it away... smash it with a hammer, hold your door open with it, or use it for fish tank decorations. Regardless of which unless you have any kind of desire to learn some technical stuff then you have no chance of ever getting anything useful out of that hard drive.

Don't take this the wrong way but the guy's HDD is NOT broken, it is still fully functional but every time he plugs it in to his banned Xbox the flash will re-corrupt the drive. Powerslave even said likewise in the post before yours.

but all of his questions spawn back to wanting to use his hd on the banned 360 and in which case is no well not with out corrupting it everytime lol and I think then you have to go through the steps to uncorrupt it, or I think you can just format it from an unbanned 360.

The above answer was an attempt at encouraging him to look for information him self, I know very little of the subject did one simple google for it and now I know a shit ton.. *Sigh*

Plus the harddrive as a fish tank decoration would be epic!

The drive is fully functional and working, if you plug it in to any banned console it wont work correctly.

And yes a quick goolge would let anyone know this but saying the drive is fracked is giving out false information which is what confuses noobs

so now that your xbox is banned why not just set your 360 drive aside and stare at it for a while? Maybe it will do tricks, or theirs the fish tank idea?

Thanks I´ve already searched for detailed information here and in xbox scene they explain a method with the NAND.......but I don´t have the skills to do It so d´better stay quiet and wait for another future solution then risking jamming the xbox with solder knowledge that I do not Have........

I don't think there will be another method anytime soon, do you have any friends that can solder? Maybe they would be willing to help you out if you asked nicely

There will be no other method besides FreeBOOT and the NAND edit, as both pertain to the NAND. If you are going to wait for an easy solution, you will be dead, and there still won't be one...

You can always buy an Arcade Edition, and use your HDD.

I have another doubt, to prevent 3rl I have put 2 fans auxiliar in the back of the xbox so it drags the heat more rapidly but by doing this am I not making more vibration on the xbox and causing damage?

I have an XB360 with the left fan (GPU side) on HIGH, works fine. Where do you come up with this stuff?
