Means you can't play on live anymore, download content, or load games to the HDD, use the Windows Media Center plug-in. 

You will have to buy a new one to get back on line.  You can buy am Arcade or other used one, and use your HDD. You will lose a lot of your achievements, see the BAN wave thread for what they are doing.  So not post there unless you are going to post your console ban only, with info and what you may have done to get banned.   READ that first post thoroughly before posting there.
