About the new 0800 mode - iXtreame 1.6
I dont know if I understood it right or not.
In the new release - 1.6, theres an option to dump the drive with a disc?
If so, it mean that we dont need anymore open it. And there for not loss the warranty...

Looks quite clear to me, with 1.6 firmware flashed: Integrated 0800 for game dumping including SS v2! - With drive in Windows mode (Tray half open on powerup) 0800 mode is activated allowing easy dumping of game disc including SS v2. In this mode the drive is also able to output drive key, fw version and drive type by using a simple custom inquiry command.
