Hello everyone. I wanted to ask this question about the Xbox 360 game DLCs. Are they region specific or not?

I am actually interested in this offer:

Which is giving away the GTA4 Lost and the Damned DLC away. Now I have an Asian Xbox 360, with a UK Based Xbox LIVE Account. I am asking the above question with regards to this. If I purchase the GTA4 DLC from Amazon.com what are the chances that it will (or will not) work for me ?

DLC itself is region-free. If you can get it, it will work.

I don't think they are region specific due to NTSC/PAL issues, it is licensing issues with other regions. This is the same for downloaded games in Japan -vs- US games on market place. Some you can get in Japan that you can't get in USA, that's just the way they do it. The content should work for all the games, but, they just don't offer it in other regions. If you want to know why, well, then ask Microsoft, because no one here knows the for sure answer. They will tell you licensing and tariff stuff, so, that's just the way it is...

Is there actual way of hacking the DLC on Xbox 360? Any tutorial of how to add for example songs in Guitar Hero or Rock Band on my Xbox that I download from torrent sites?
And, no, the the DLC is not region protected.
