idea for keeping dumb posts down
something i can suggest is making peoples accounts limited to not being able to post for 2 days... this makes it so people have to think a little bit more before posting dumb sh!t.

That Kinda limits things way too much imo.
if your only allowed say 5 posts a day and there are 10 hacks that came out on that day, you are gonna want to talk about it.
One other solution would be to warn people who post one worded replies in their post. and give them a certain amount of warnings before they get a suspension or something

just have what other forums have: a warn meter. every time a user does something wrong, a mod warns him, when his/her warn level gets too high, BAN!
