Mind you that I did say cheap as in lower cost. Quality wise is meh, for enough for the outstanding picture and price.
It's not hard to find a nice 28-42inch LCD HDTV for under $1000 USD

Checkout places like:

Walmart <<Click

Office Depot <<Click

And many places online.

Some people go to places like Best Buy and see HDTVs for $1,600 -$5000 and think HD is just too far out of their price range but much cheaper solutions can be found. Playing a "Next-Gen" console on a standard tv is doing a serious injustice to yourselves so I felt that I had to show you these options.

A $450 -$600 32inch tv is ideal for me. Not too big for your room, not too small for gaming or enjoying the HD picture quality
