Ok well my streaming isent working any more.. i haven't used it in a long time and the other day i went to go play some music while racing on forza.... but it says there is not a windows XP PC connected. So i checked my WMP11 and it was seeing the 360, then tries the Zune software, it sees the 360, but 360 cant see the PC. anyone know what i can do to try to get this to work again?

Weird, as soon as you allow WMP11 to see and connect to other devices automatically, everything should be set.
Maybe something like the router interfering in between?
You can try an other program maybe, like TVersity.
If you do use TVersity, make sure to add it the the firewall's exception list.

Vista home basic does not support Media Streaming, if you have Home Basic... You should still be able to use WMP11b or Tversity... The latest dashboard update for Xbox360 also had a change for streaming, you needed to get a patch or something for WMP or Tversity? I thought I read that somewhere, not sure.

Mine actually is working again, I have to ADD all the files and folders to the Library in WMP11. I noticed that the other day when everything I have was not showing up (was on PS3). I just use the PS3 now anyway, their V1.80 update allows streaming now, is nice...
great... everyones works cept mine... ive tried reinstalling WMP11 and nothing......Im pretty sure the only way im going to get this to work is to reinstall windows XP on my comp.... which i really don't wanna do...
EDIT: hey i just had a though.. but cant try it right now too busy... if i remove or shut down Windows Live OneCare, or its firewall, would streaming then work?
EDIT AGAIN: Got it working. i opened Windows Live OneCare, Then click Change OneCare Settings, Then go to Firewall, and click Firewall Connection Tool, Then just check the box called, Connect My Xbox 360 or Media Center Extender to my Media Center PC.
And baam... it worked.... Well atleast its working for TVersity. have not gotten WMP11m or Zune software to work....
but w/e
