Can you clearify one the original post whether or not you can use original games on a modded xbox over live safely? I feel as though you can not but it would be nice to see it confirmed in the main post.

i've been playin on live for months with a flashed hitachi xbox 360 and haven't been banned yet can u explain?

But if they are scaning your xbox surely this is in violation of you cival rights as you have not agreed to this?
Maybe a law suit against microsoft for the right to you own privacy could help.

Also if i have payed for my xbox 360 with my hard earned cash, why the hell can't i mod it? i own it not microsoft! or do microsoft always own my xbox?

Well screw big brother (microsoft) support all that mod i say! what they say they loose is all crap!

They still earn billions in revenue. Don't get me wrong i have full respect for what microsoft have done for the computer revolution, but game prices are far to high!!

Well, No...  See, You (We) agreed to the TERMS when you turned on your Xbox360, maybe you should have read it all.  Any contract you "Agree" to, no mater how stupid, wrong or desperate it seems, you still agreed to it.  I would imagine that those who DO NOT agree, took their Xbox360 back?  I would like to see that....  If you were stuck in a hole, and you signed a paper that said you had to pay me 10.00 a month for the  rest of your life, for risking my life to save you; then you would have to pay up every month (just an example of a VERY STUPID contract).  Does this, or that, fall under the DURESS clause?  Not sure, I mean, they basically MAKE you agree, but you can get always your money back (return it) if you do not agree.

You agreed not to as stated above, and the Millennium Copyright Act now says you can't.  Those laws are made behind closed doors, at 2 in the morning when no one cares, or can't do anything about it...  It is all to protect the corporation.  By law (maybe not NOW), you have a legal right to a backup, but, since the method used to play the backup is like picking your neighbors lock, breaking in to play, is what makes it illegal.

It's no where NEAR that bad, scanning your console isn't like they are looking at YOU, there are no cameras looking over you by M$  Would you say the same about Onstar?  They they know WHERE you are, everytime you drive your vehicle, and can also read everything in the OBDII system.  In fact, they (insurance companies) are NOW using these records in accident cases, to see just how FAST you were going when you were in the accident.  IT is the ELECTRONIC AGE... One where it is getting hard to lie anymore, cheat, and steal, so the people rebel and scream VOILATION, when you are violating the law, and someone's property....  That isn't right for US as a people so call FOUL, when we are committing a FOUL on our own...

It is more the GAME DEVELOPERS that belly-ache, not Microsoft, they are just the Big Brother that takes care of business.  They LOSE money on the console, they have some gripe, but the developers won't produce high quality games for people to rip off...  If they won't produce, M$ gets no license money, thus they do not recover loses due to the console sales.  PS3 is in this position right now, not many games, and already, people want to pirate them.  That would destroy Sony right now, due to the huge 200, down to 100.00 loss on each console.  M$ is losing HALF that now, with the reduction...

yes u can, but i dnt know much about the nme chip, i know that games need to be patched differently when using the nme chip, check teamunderdog.com i think it, they are the makers of the nme chip, the should tell u how and what u have to do

hello again, i wanna know something else.
i want to know what mod is easier to do?
hack or modchip?
i know if i choose the modchip i have to solder, and, of course, i don't know how.
but if i choose the hacks, i have to flash my drive, and i don't know how(again).
i got  a little idea  of how to solder and how to flash the drive, but as i said, my experience is "little"
