Can Default Xex Update Affect My Flashed Firmware ???
Hello all, I have a xbox 360 with 'Maximus-Garyopa_XTRM-HITACHI_v2_3_Stealth_Rev2' firmware flashed on the drive. I want to play ninja gaiden black & i've downloaded the emulator update from microsoft (default xex), But i'm abit worried about installing it as i don't really trust microsoft & i don't want to brick my 360.
Can anyone confirm that this only updates the emulators ???

I do not thing the emulation compatibility updates effect the mods, just the dash and kernel updates do, when designated like the last one for some Samsung drives. You can never tell, it is all try it and see. M$ is working on ECMs for mods, but will do it when they can really make a statement. No one knew the latest update would casue E66 on some modded DVD drives, so they're trying.
