mputten from ombouwservice-webshop.com reports that he’s seen new Xbox 360 consoles without the 2nd-GPU heatsink/heatpipe (like the early Xenon consoles). This European Forza3-pack Xbox 360 Elite has a MFG 2009-08-17, LOT 0942. It seems like Microsoft is now confident enough their HW no longer needs the extra GPU heatsink.
The device also came with an Philips-LiteOn DG16D2S-09C drive which seems unreadable by DOSflash atm (’Invalid Drive Data’).
which means that dev. teams r going to get their tool boxes out and start doin what they luv to do , and it means that M$ is starting to play hard ……
yea it because of this i need to bump up the 360 on my priority list.

Yep; M$ tried to stop CFW with the 1st BenQ, that failed, then with the Lite-On drives, they failed. There will ALWAYS be a way to use CFW because they are not really doing all they can to prevent it.
Look at PS3, not a single hack with their completely proprietary BR-D.
some ppl dont take the time 2 hack the ps3 even though it would b cool but blank Blu ray discs r so damn expensive lol…more then a dollar a disc for sure
People STOPPED working on the PS3 because it turned out to be FUTILE. There are still some hackers out there trying. M$ was easy, because they used a regular DVD drive, and is partially proprietary.
Hi I’m shire if I was lucky or not but I had a go at mine and my mates forza3 super elites lot nm 944 and the drives were dated july09 and aug09 both 09c drives and I manage to dump the key with jungle flasher 1.66 and flash it with dosflash i was wondering if they have altered the firmware from sep09 onwards!!!
i got the new elite bundle with prure and lego batman and it cant be modded,i hope the fine a way to do it.
confirmed: MFG 2009-08-13,drive – july09, 09C, dumped & flashed with Xflasher 0.8, pc – intel ICH5.
did you use the connectivity kit v3 with the probe attachment?
i always sold r707 (used handmake programmer) but this drive (83850c) not required com-port conn, only sata & power.
i think it could be drives from sep09 onwards but i would like to have a go 2 of my friends are getting the elite modern warfare 2 consoles so i will have a go a those
