Hey, all you banned users, er, I mean, users without internet access:

Anyone who missed out on the New Xbox Experience last year because of a lack of internet access )you were banned, lets be honest) on their console: There will soon be alternative methods of upgrading your Xbox 360′s dashboard without going online at all. CVG reports that the demo disc bundled with next month’s Official Xbox Magazine (on newsstands April 9) will include the update in its entirety.

Phished XBox Live Accounts In Circulation

Posted by The Ori

Recently found, these  270 sets of login details that have apparently been Phished via a fake XBox Live login page. The list, some 27 pages long in Word format, would allow people to access stolen XBox Live accounts, some of which may have credit card details stored  (along with other forms of personal information, of course).

Phished XBox Live Accounts

This list seems to be in circulation on a number of hacking forums (not this one!)  The majority of these accounts were phished between November and December of last year.  Though it has been a relatively long time since the data was first collected, a lot of the accounts still seem to be accessible based on comments we’re seeing on those underground sites. It seems someone might have put their personal stash on “general release” to gain some kudos with others.

IXtreme 1.51 and Jungleflasher 1.51

Posted by The Ori

Xtreme 1.51 Features:
Wave X support
Support of future Waves of X360 game disc structures. New partition sizes and video data will be automatically supported and will be allowed to boot.
This represents a possibility of booting a bad backup but now that there is some good tools out there (like abgx360) to check your backups before you boot them, the risk is small.

So please check your backups to ensure consistency with the original!

Full support to flash all drives in the new Jungleflasher (0.1.51) including easy upgrade for Liteon iX1.5 drives (WIll get all info inc key from drive over SATA)

JungleFlasher 1.51 Features:
We have probably added or changed alot more but this is what we could remember.
Full Hitachi Support
- Added portIO communications for those with via drivers
- Still requires mode-b but drivers aren’t needed anymore or drive letter in windows for drive
- Win API mode for all options if you dont want to use portIO ( fast as hell )
- Restore firmware = will do just that, as safely as possible
- All previous f/w’s have been considered, so restore is as safe as we can make it
- Once drive is restored can be modified to ix 1.51
- Flash iXtreme.. auto-dump/auto-save/auto-add-ixtreme/auto-compare/auto-flash (need to have stock or restored fw first)
- Functions addde to Spoof, change Key, set checksum
- Free flash option is available for advance users which lets you do what you like ( warnings in place )
- Drive refresh includes “Scan for Hardware Changes” to find new hitachi’s in windows
- Remove button to remove hitachi safely from windows.
- Auto-detect of hitachi rev from Inquiry..
- 79 unlock option works in PortIO and Win API mode

New Games Don’t Boot on Stealth Firmwares – iXtreme 1.51/1.6

Posted by The Ori

New games like MLB 2009 and Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X. don’t boot from recordable discs on Xbox 360s with modified stealth firmwares. The reason in short: these games include the NXE dashboard update inside the video partition of the disc. The newer ‘stealth’ iXtreme firmwares check the crc of the video partition and if it doesn’t match ‘wave1′ or ‘wave2′ it will refuse to boot the disc. This new video partition that includes the NXE dashboard upgrade is ‘wave 3′ and support will have to be added for it in the iXtreme firmwares.

Older non-stealth firmwares do not check the video partition, so these will probably boot the discs, but it’s unsafe for Live Play, to use these firmwares on any Xbox360 you also want to connect to LIVE, as it can/will get you banned.

C4eva and his team are already working on a new iXtreme version for all drive versions. iXtreme v1.51 will probably include full ‘wave3′ support (including for Hitachi drives). v1.6 is planned for later with 0800 dumping for all drives as well! There are no deadlines for the release, it’ll be out when it’s ready and tested, so please don’t ask… It shouldn’t take too long.
