Do you really want to use your mouse / keyboard combo on your Xbox 360? Do you got the funds to drop $179.95 for the privilege? If so, then you should probably know that XIM’s ready and willing to oblige you. The XIM 2 module, which is supposedly plug ‘n play in nature, is at long last available for ordering, though it’s not quite ready for shipment.

$179? Could get a graphics card for that & play real fps, mouse & keyboard won’t make much of a difference to games like COD, because they have auto-aim on the console versions.
What a waste of $179!! I’ve got a USB keyboard/mouse that works great with the xbox360. Never have “incompatibility” issues. Sure, it may have a slight lag every now and then, but if you can wait a second for your text to appear, then you can save yourself $179. This is pretty much a worthless mod! It’s $20 less than a brand new xbox 360 Arcade!

For the idiots complaining about the price, you either don’t understand supply and demand or don’t know/remember the preciseness of a mouse.
For the Supply and Demand demonstration:
XIM2 currently has a monopoly over allowing mouse/keyboard gaming on a 360.
This means that there isn’t a (cheap/easily usable) alternative, so they can charge a “ridiculous” amount of money.
With our economics lesson over, we can now move forward.
The reason I, as well as several other hardcore PC gamers would pay $184.99 for this product is that it allows us to take the skill we’ve conquered of “Point, Click, Dead” to a game system which is (generally) better populated, has fewer hackers, and in my experience has less lag, leading to better competitive game play.
Almost makes me regret buying the Asus G71GX-RX05 laptop from best buy for halo 2 vista, which is [un]officially dead due to hackers.
@yo mama you use a hack to get an edge over other people and complain about the PC game being un-officially dead due to hackers. Way to bring the problem to the console jackass. Just buy an uber cheap turbo controller. Goodbye competitive game play. Congrats on not even seeing the irony in your stupidity.
PCs are way too expensive to upgrade continuously. All the PC games today are console ported anyways. So dont act surprised when more PC gamers move to console, dickhead.

-Computers are too expensive to keep upgrading
-Playing fields are too unequal.
-There are too many cheats that are too easy to get i.e. wallhacks and aimbots.
-One person can have a $5,000 PC while another person may have a $1,000 PC.
PC PROS
+Community. There are good gaming leagues for PC games such as CAL (Cyber athlete league)TWL, (Team Warfare League. They let you organize matches between clans waay easier. People know what clans are good because of the team ranking systems.
+Controls. Aiming with a K/M is a lot quicker and more acurate than aiming with analog sticks and your thumbs. Fact not opinion.
+Game servers. Being able to own your own game server. Allows for clan advertisement and most importantly customization of game rules.(i.e. Round length,score cap and map rotation.)
+Being able to pick which game server you want to play in.
Fixes
!Make K/M compatible with all consoles. There is no excuse not to! It would convert some if not most PC players to console players which would help make the console gaming community more competitive. Clutter? Who cares its worth it. How do you use K/M at your couch or in your bed? Figure it out buy some small table/ platform to use.This is the only thing consoles really lack imo.
!Somehow, someway start gaming leagues such as those mentioned above (TWL,CAL)for consoles. Make viewing these leagues accessible from the consoles themselves.
! Instead of automatically assigning you to servers ( i.e. When you click find match in COD5 you get assigned to a random server.) Show a list of servers and let the players manually pick the servers they want to play in (i.e. CoD PC join game process.)
If anyone has read this far I have a few questions.
Does this product allow you to hook up any keyboard and mouse to your console?
Is this product easy to use?
Is this product faulty/glitchy/ is it worth buying?
