On The Power Supply:
Output DC (—-) 150W

Consoles with a MFG date of 10-22-2008 can still be Falcon boards. It is mostly the POWER SUPPLY wattage that indicates Jasper or not, at only 150 watts. Jasper has the 65nm GPU and CPU.

The power connector to the XB360 inlet will be different, as it was from Zephyr, to Falcon. The design is the same, but it is tabbed/keyed on the TOP portion of the supply plug, that prevents power supplies from being plugged into different models. When I got my Falcon, my original PSU (& Intercooler) would not plug into the Falcon XB360. I saw that it was KEYed different at the top.

M$ confirms that the Xbox 360 Arcade units do come with 256MB of internal storage.  A Microsoft spokesperson said quite simply; “We are constantly updating the consoles more than 1700 internal components (Yeah, except the ones that cause the 3LOD?). We can confirm that we are moving to internal memory for the Xbox 360 Arcade. The physical internal memory is the same size as the previous external memory units – 256MB.” – I would also imagine is saves them a small amount of money, no plastic case, and little green bag for the 256MB unit.

Cygnos, a team of dedicated console “technicans” is proud to anounce the upcoming release of our first product called “Cygnos360″. Cygnos360 is a modchip for the easy installation directly onto the underside of the xbox360 mainboard.

Cygnos360 is a dual kernel modchip which adds a secondary NAND flash to the xbox 360 mainboard. It allows switching between the onboard NAND flash and the Cygnos360 NAND flash. By doing so, users can have an exploitable kernel version such as “4532″ or “4548″ at the same time as the current kernel version required to play the latest games. Cygnos360 can also be used for switching between kernels patched with different region codes so that users can easily switch between US and EU games for example.

A quick summary of the features:
- adds secondary flash to hold an “alternative kernel” that users can switch to
- fits directly on the bottom side of the xbox360 mainboard
- needs only one wire running on the board
- easy to use “quicksolder pads” which at the same time make sure that the modchip is stuck to the mainboard and does not fall around.

Microsoft has reportedly, initiated a new ban wave.  Right now there is not lot of details, or information, but if you have a modified DVD firmware we suggest you stay off LIVE, for now.

They also have a new app for the CK3. It has a very powerful IO port query function which scans all ports both legacy / ide / sata onboard and sata add on cards. You can connect any drive in windows and run a port scan – it will tell you the drive name and exactley which port it is connected to. No more guess work. It auto detects the CK3 Pro and much more.
