Don’t be a sucker getting ripped off by those shysters on eBay reselling complicated micro-controllers to achieve something so menial. Head to Radio Shack or your local electronics shop and pick up 30-gauge wrapping wire and a momentary switch. Easily engineer a Rapid Fire controller for yourself:

Great mod but it will only work on the old type of controller. On the new type of controller it just fires a single shot.
does this same method work for wierd controllers cause thats what i have an have tried but it dont work?
the wired controllers are a bit diff the trigger solder is the same but mess around with the game on and youll find a power source on the back side of the circut board
thats right, it doesn’t work on the new controller boards, unless you have a pad from when they were first released it wont work!
does the chipless method work on a elite wireless controller.And do you have to add more buttons in order to get fast fire.
this only works with the old controllers but you can use a 555 timer chip with the new ones
This mod works on old controllers only and even then the rapid fire is no where near as fast as it is with the chips. The chips are not hard to do either. Just get a JDM serial programmer off ebay for like 8 bucks and then you can get the chips from mouser electronics. Then you can find the code for the rapid fire off many different websites just like this and then plug the chip in the programmer, start the program and bam you are done. It only takes about 5 seconds per chip. You can program 30 chips in the time it would take to just take your controller apart and try this poor mans version of the mod. Go to ebay buy your self 5 used controllers, mod them sell them for 3 times what you paid and bam you are making easy money. I mad 1200 in profit in only 3 weeks. That time includes having to learn how to mod these things and program the chips. Not bad for a little extra money and when you break it down you are making like 35 bucks an hour.

I started out with this very mod. Actually amazing how much of a difference there is from then to now. I would never go back to using the single wire with momentary switch after using programmed pics. Anyone who has used both knows this as well.
