This article from a Swiss newspaper recounts the appearance of Christopher Tarnovsky at the European Black Hat conference. While with NDS, Tarnovsky cracked Kudeslki’s satellite TV encryption, but claims he didn’t post the result on the open Net. His responses to audience questions are amusing, in particular when someone from Microsoft asks him about breaking the Xbox 360 console. Tarnovsky replies: “I have been offered 100,000 dollars for the break, but I replied that it was not enough.”

Ya. The xbox 360 is really difficult to hack for a variety of reasons. Microsoft has devoloped a great security system called the “hypervisor”. Google it.
100,000 isnt much considering that sky pay over a billion a year for there encryption!!!!

maybe if they offer him few million he will say yes otherwise he can sell it else where to loads little people and make 100,000 in few weeks!
For the work that this man does vs. what he would have to do to crack the 360 on his own…100k is nothing to him.

from my understanding it says in the article that he got $30,000 for cracking one chip(or set chips), so hell no 100,000 G’s in no where near enough for whats Micro Bucks would want

lol i think hes thinkin the 360 got chipped which yes did happen few years ago but no homebrew is on 360 as of yet… and NO unsigned code has been run!
its modded as its plays downloaded games on cheap disc thats all people care about not emulator shite
