On Wednesday it was reported; a guy who got a brand new X360 after mailing Bill Gates about the problems he was having with his console. Tons of news sites reported on this and the result seems to have been a massive increase in angry mails towards the man.
Microsoft now has sent out a note that people shouldn’t be contacting Mr. Gates:
“Bill Gates or Microsoft executives are not an appropriate escalation point for customer service issues. Customers experiencing issues with their Xbox 360 console should contact Xbox Customer Service. Our customer service team is well equipped to ensure that the repair process goes smoothly.”
Hmm, so the man doesn’t want to hear about his failures? He must be God…
Also, the Elite model is their hottest seller, there are no planned SKU changes.

its not like bill gates was the only guy to make the 360
But he owns Microsoft. He should know his company isn’t living up to the promises he made. (remember that scene from the South Park movie? “F–ing Windows 98, get Bill Gates in here” and then he’s all like “I thought you said this was supposed to be faster and more efficient?” then just caps him? roflmao!
Caps him? Yeah, whatever you say “Gangsta”, that’s absurd.
His own O/S crashed on him during a major presentation, he knows… Just be glad none of the game consoles run it.

i agree, im gonna do it because i have had 5 boxes red ring on me, and i only used them on weekends. and also the fact that all of the boxes scratch my games after a small time of use. micro soft made me hate them.

DUH!!!!! it’s like having a heart sugery from a optalmologist. Sure, bill gates cares, but he is not the right man to be sent angry mails as it will not resolve any. Might as well call customer serivce 24/7 so they will know that xbox 360 units have some heating problems.
