If you have gotten banned over the past week, we would ask you to share the following with us in the forum thread below, otherwise, please do not post in the thread! Bans only!
It appears to effect the new iXreme 1.4 as well, and of course rhe older ixtreme, and non ixtreme versions; and all of the drives have been effected.
If you can, let us know:
A) Firmware Version, drive type (hitachi, samsung, benq) and when you upgraded/installed that version. Also include if you spoofed the version.
B) Previous firmware version’s, or if the console is freshly modded or refurbished (please include manufactor date).
C) Backups played over the past month(and whether they were checked with kreon checker, if not, please check the SS and report the results).
D) Originals played over the past month.
E) Method of backing up games (as always, piracy is not tolerable, so if you have downloaded these games, please do not bother posting.)
As of this moment know one knows if a new security was implemented, or if they are further scrutinizing the already given criteria (SS, DMI, PFI alterations, timings, etc).

I’ve had 12 consoles get banned these past couple of months. I will post all the information I get regarding these consoles and there activities relating to their bannings. Here are 2…

I am slowly researching the causes of all mine and the people of which consoles I have modded got banned. What is weird is some got banned without any game in and some got banned with a burnt game in that had pfi dmi and ss sectors put on. Also using kreon drives they still got banned.
I will post all the results of the bannings as they come on my part.
never heard so much rubbish ever time u put in a copy game in microsoft know so dont blame it months later on the time u went on live without a game in and got bannedd , they where banning you for all them months you played on live with copy games its that easy to understand i counld go on xbox.com now type in your gametag and see all the games you have beeen playing and if any of them where played before the offical release date .
Just because someone played a game prior to the street date release. Plenty of games had their release dates broken over the years; it’s a common occurrence.
As for my console, I’m not banned…at least not yet. I won’t be surprised if it hits me later.
I’ll be happy when keyvaults are being sold over online forums to unban 360s, like when they were selling EEPROMs for the Xbox 1. That is if they’ll ever be sold… >_>
Er sorry, (profanity removed), I meant to say that just because someone played a game prior to street release date doesn’t mean they’ve downloaded a scene release to get it early.
ha ha ha i saw call of duty 4 being played 3 weeks before it was out in uk so pull some ones other leg
yep i gt banned friday jst gone and i have a hitachi drive. i have been told that it was the recent dashboard upsate which has caused the banning. hopefully someone will find a way to get back onto live!!!!!
i got banned, modded firmware but a real old one, brought a new 360 and swaped 4 my old one, then swapped that 4 a Wii, im back on live an now own a Wii, grate
It would also be nice to hear from people who haven’t been banned, and what they are doing. I for instance stay disconnected to Live while playing backups, does anyone think that this helps? I have a samsung ms28 drive, and iXtreme 1.3, and haven’t been banned yet.

I do confirm NOT being banned, I play back ups OFFLINE (cable onplugged on the back), and I play ORIGINALS online. I use old Ixtreme firmware.
Wouldn’t you knew this was going to happen. Microsoft is protecting it’s investment in the consoles and game industry. Also all the x360 “modification” information is freely available. Microsoft wants to know what is new on the “hack scene” all they gotta do is “Google”. I mean how hard is to keep up with new hacks and trends.

have not been banned no problems what so ever.
i always make sure my backups are properly stealthed etc.
and i also done the fall update while it was flashed

i does not matter if u play backups online or offline microsoft can look at your gaming record anytime .
well because of that ban thing with the games i disconnected the network adaptor so i won’t have been banned
I been connecting to live and have not been banned yet but that might be since i am a silver member and don’t online to play. I can download from the marketplace and upload scores to a leaderboard also. :)
i was a silver user and got banned just before the divx update *Dang* ,but in the end microsoft would be better blocking copies for online play and allowing originals which they would still get £40 a year for. instead you can play copies for £1 and just not bother with online at all. best part is for me the only online bit i use is the clock (make gamesaves in order) which still works when your banned :)

i have 1.2 benq.i updated with the december update on the 9/12/07.didn’t turn on xbox till today and put in retail fear and asked for an update so i plugged in cable and updated.then checked dlc on fear disc and i was downloading stuff for bout 2 hours(only from fear disc do not market place)all my games are from downloads.

Gosh another non thinking ****. Maybe you have noticed, when being OFFLINE, and getting achievements, it does NOT store DATE AND TIME for it. Banning peeps based on acheivements is BS, think dude, then most game stores would have their consoles banned, which is NOT the case.
hallo and sorry for this post.i own a new xbox with a nme v2(hitachi) one friend a flashed xbox with samsung drive.after the update that came up with need for speed pro steet my xbox stoped playing backups(never used live!!)my friend that used live only with original games his console stop working!(red leads on the front)we send our consoles back to the shop for check.is it possible that the updates are somehow connected to the live bans of mod consoles?thnx
I have a sam with the old xtreme 52 firmware. I have never had a problem out of it untill latley, It wouldnt play NFS pro street or assassin’s creed. It would play COD 4 but would give me a dirty disk error when trying to play online. the other two games would give me a dirty disk error too. I havent tried to play any backups online for about a month now, since all the bans started but i play retail games still with no problem to this day. im still on xbox live

I got a samsung ms25 with ixtreme1.2 previous xtreme5.3 , playin Assasins Creed Mass Effect , VF5 , Halo3 ,K&L etc.. no original game in like 1 month i make my backups with xbox backup creator with a samsung SH-D162c with kreon vo.81 evrery game passed the sthealt check
