We have received numerous emails stating users are now getting banned from Xbox Live! Some of our own forum members have in fact received the boot as well. This issue may possibly be related to hacked firmwares; however, nothing is certain yet. If you’re using a modded 360, I’d advise you stay off Xbox Live for now.
Just helping spread the word.

hey, that happened to me after i download the halo 3 beta from crack down, now my xbox doesnt wanna get on live, but i can still play the backup game, but fuck i dont have live.. any help coming soon??

Microsoft is gay… They overcharge everything they can. and there products arent as good as most of the others. For instance (Windows = shit in security and stability) and the with the xbox 360 you have to buy so many accessories to actually get into some serious gaming.
there is something u can do. Just take your banned xbox to see Bill Gates and promise him not to modify xbox anymore and see if he can forgive u for that. good luck guy.

well than i suggest you keep everything diconnected otherwise you will get banned because of some other update they bring out:P while we are playing with our stupid friends:)

Yeah I got banned and now my drive spins really fast, making a loud noise, and also the now wont stay closed. Any reason for this? What can I do to fix the problem?

Not true, from what I observed from the 8 or 9 xbox’s I have hacked the dvd drive without firmware stealth are the drives that get caught
Banned today with ms-28 with xtreme firmware 5.2 slow read.Came home from not playing all day and was banned.Played crackdown and halo 3 beta up till today.
Yep, Microsoft is officially banning xbox 360’s from xbox live, but I am almost positive that if you have FIRMWARE STEALTH you should be fine, but…I said almost. I have modded 8 or 9 xbox 360’s and only the people with hitachi rom vers. 0078 have been booted do to the fact that there is no firmware stealth right now for that version. wait, 2.4 might have firmware stealth for it but I am not sure. For right now I suggest all people to stay off xbox live if you have a modded 360. Oh and by the way I GOT THE BOOT, F!@#*** MICROSOFT. Anyways heads up and stay alert. Eventually we, “all the great hackers that I truly RESPECT and GIVE THANKS TO” will find a way to bypass or circumvent this horrible event that is occuring. 1.PS3 IS 600 dollars, however, it gives you so much mnore than the 360 in terms of media and gaming
2.True, we can’t play backups… yet. Even if we were to be able to, it would be kind of pointless as the games are at least 10-20 GB and we would need to burn them on blu-ray discs, which get expensive after a while

if xtreme firmware was actaully “stealth” like it says, not one firmware on any dvd drive should have been caught.I just read the readme file in xtreme 5.2 for my samsung ms 28 and it says stealth, undectable…Buncha crap.I have an ms 28 banned.disc jitter is a joke, thats not how there finding out if you have a hacked console.If it was from downloaded games only the people that downloaded games from torrent sites should have been busted. I didnt dowload one game off the net.There is some kind of check in the firmware to detect irregularites in code.Figured cm4eva would have figured this out has the disc jitter info could have been proposely leaked to lead hackers in the complete wrong direction.Justa thought
also, people that didnt download halo 3 beta have been banned, even from playing orginal copies of crackdown.If it was the game, all people with backup games on live should be banned, not some and others get to keep playin.Microsoft will ban everyone with modified consoles.Off to the store for a new box.Thanks for reading my little insight.
ms-28 banning are puring in as we speak….PLEASE POST YOUR DRIVE,FIRMWARE,BANNING,WHAT GAME WAS IN, etc.We need to lead the movement to make things happen, because i have the feelings the hackers will be in the shadows for awhile since the tens of thousands of people who lived this crap will be waiting for them to poke there head out the door.
However many thousands or millions who have been banned this friday. It will be know to the haxor community as Black Friday. I have not been banned I kept away from live during this month as I feard this was what would happen during the spring update. I will stay off untill the boys and commedor sort it out. We must not let black friday be the defining moment of the war for console indpendence. We must patch patch until they can never detect any of our bretherin again. A friend of mine in the uk downloaded stuff from the american marketplace.
Specifically Aegis Wing that was a free arcade game for americans only.
Played it on his UK Profile on a completely unmodded xbox.
Hitachi Drive / version not known / original firmware / never modded / BANNED.

We all still pay for Gold membership and M.S. points, so they will lose out still.

Well ill threw you all off . i had a freind disconnect his net befor i repeat befor the dash update. i seen that even with the new drive update that the systems were getting busted. so we said screw it and fired it up without the new dash update and without the firmupdate now the system was ban even befor the dashupdate .
seems to me there was a time bomb in all the systems long befor this. also that system has never seen crackdown ;)

they didn’t ban me, probably cuz i’ve always had a stealth firmware. People who were on live even before the halo 3 beta came out, but didn’t have a stealth fw at the time are probably banned too. If you’ve always used a stealth firmware when using xbox live, you should be fine. Cuz i even have a replacement samsung dvd drive in stead of my original hitachi. but both of the drives have always been stealth on live.

lol, im still gona sell mine on ebay and add at the bottom, if you buy this dont go on xbox live because u will be banned, ppl buy consoles which have *extreme* so they can play offline anyway so what does it matter? iv got banned using an ms25 from downloading h3beta and u cant change ur console id and probly wont be able to unless u unsolder your console chips which may result in bricking anyway! so im just gona sell mine with all my games once its sold keep the money and either save or get an elite =]
I am using the xtreme52 package from this site, I am on the gold service. I have NOT gone any where near the halo 3 beta or crackdown and I am still playing my original GOW online without any ban. I have played FEAR and GRAW2 online (both back ups) since the bans started. It may still happen to me but until it does I am just going to make the most of it. If my console gets banned I will buy another and keep this one for single player back ups only, I gather it still works on local play and x-link kai so screw live its a rip off anyway, making people pay for add-ons and map packs what a joke, I never had to pay for things like that on PC games.

My 360 was modded an Flashed by a mates mate, I haven’t been on Live for bout 2months. He’s going to try and load my data that he svaed on a CD before he Flashed my drive. Could this be a way a getting back on Live without them detecting my 360 is modded? CAN SOMEONE PLEASE REPLY, KINDA DESPERATE!

u have to have the latest flash (not last years version)and flash the 360 out of the box before even switching it on thats the the the only way to stay online there taking footprints of systems nowt to do with halo 3 beta and dont play game that are not out in this country that simple
if i bought a new 360 the flashed it without turning the 360 on will microsoft not ban me from live what is the latest firmware
