Posted by greg
As promised, here it is — iXtreme Firmware v1.0 from none other than Commodore4Eva. This release is strictly for Toshiba-Samsung H943 (TS-H943) Xbox 360 DVD-ROM drives.
Features:
- Defeats all current and some future Xbox Live detection attempts
- Boots ONLY Stealth Xtreme Xbox 360 backups
- Boots ONLY Stealth Xtreme Xbox 1 backups
- Boots all Xbox 360 originals
- Boots all Xbox 1 originals on Xbox 360
It’s likely iXtreme won’t remedy your current Xbox Live ban. But… Apparently if you complain they’re capable of re-scanning your console, thus, according to the features, you’ll remain undetectable. That’s up to you — you decide.

May 28, 2007360 Flash Dump Tool v0.1
Posted by greg
robinsod has released a Windows app which will decrypt & extract various parts of a Xbox 360 flash dump. In case you didn’t know, the 360′s flash is divided into 2 major parts: 1) the Cx sections and, 2) the Flash File System.
The Cx sections:
- CB — CPU bootup
- CD — unpacker for CE
- CE — contains the Hypervisor and Kernel (in a .cab archive)
- CF & CG — upgrade patches
360 Flash Dump v0.1 expects the dump to contain the 512 bytes of data followed by the ECC, which is 16 bytes. The ECC bytes are used to locate FS entries and identify the version.
The ZIP archive comprises two files: a Windows executable and CxKey.txt. In order to properly decrypt the Cx sections, you will need to replace the 32 0′s in CxKey.txt with the key obtained from the 1BL.
How to Use it
Load a flash dump and the tool will display a tree containing the Cx Sections and the FFS. The tool displays the base Kernel version (2.0.1888) and the highest revision CF/CG patch installed.
Expand the CX Sections node and right click on a section, choose Extract (or for CE sections ExtractCAB) you will then be prompted for a directory. Hit OK and the tool will extract that section to the selected directory
Expand the file System Roots node, each entry takes the form FS_XXXXXXXX_YY (ZZZZ) Where
XXXXXXXX is the offset into the flash of this FS root in bytes
YY is the version, we suggest extracting from the latest FS roots in case some older files have been deleted.
ZZZZ is the offset into the flash of this FS root in blocksExpand a FS root to view the files it contains
Right click on a FS root to extract all the files in this FS entry.
Right click on a File to extract the file.

May 26, 2007iXtreme In the Midst! The Answer to Xbox Live Bans?!
Posted by greg
It seems every console hacking community has the one unique hacker that sticks out and truly gets the job done; the Matrix has Neo, the PSP has Dark_AleX, and the Xbox 360 has Commodore4Eva.
After Microsoft started banning modded 360′s from Xbox Live, C4Eva began work on “iXtreme Online” — the “i” reportedly stands for Invisible.
iXtreme could very well be the solution to what everyone is wondering, “can I get my banned 360 back online?”
Así que gracias a Xtreme Online tenemos una pequeña posibilidad de quitarnos el baneo…
Aparentemente, ellos reescanearán la consola si te quejas al SAT.
– roughly translated –
So thanks to Xtreme Online we have a little hope for the ban to be removed?
Apparently yes they re-scan the console if you complain to the SAT.
New & unbanned 360′s shouldn’t have any issues with the firmware. It’s scheduled to be released very soon. Check back for that!
The battle continues!
May 19, 2007Microsoft Banning Modded 360′s from Xbox Live!?

We have received numerous emails stating users are now getting banned from Xbox Live! Some of our own forum members have in fact received the boot as well. This issue may possibly be related to hacked firmwares; however, nothing is certain yet. If you’re using a modded 360, I’d advise you stay off Xbox Live for now.
Just helping spread the word.
