Apparently “official” word, from Microsoft Australia, has been given to a local Australian retailer that they’ll be receiving the Black Xbox 360 in April. Not only will the unit be black, but it’s rumoured to come with HDMI out and a 120GB hard drive.
The MSRP is reportedly $749 AU, and that converts to $582 USD or $690 CAD.
Again, pure speculation, but hey — it’s interesting. Thanks dlr.

if they sell the harddrive alone it will probally only work on the black one
What a surprise… a 600$ Xbox360… yep now the PS3 doest look so bad does it?
Even now still lacking in some features like WIFI, Bluetooth, MC Readers, BD or HD-DVD…
I doubt there will be a $600 dollar Xbox 360. The price may be more expensive overseas but Microsoft should/will know better than to release the new 360 for $600+.
As for a black 360, umm, who cares? The original Xbox was black. I don’t see anything revolutionary here.

what they are gonna do is stop making the core system and make a 20 gig ($300.00) and a 120 gig ($400.00) or less ms will never make a $600.00 system they have to much money for that and they see how people love choices just look at how many version of vista there is
MS Will come out with a 120gb hd for the 360. I can goto newegg right now and pick up a 150gb sata hd for under $80 so I doubt MS will be that upset losign that kind of change because its the software that makes them the money anyway. Anyway I can’t wait :)
I hope that those who have the original 360 will see a mod so that we can istall a hdmi outlet
it was showed at TGS(taiwan game show). it dose have a hdmi port but nothing was sed about 120GB HDD! but these roumers have the tandancy of becoming real!
ms is gonna pissed many ppl off if they come out with hdmi output, they’ll lose credibility on their future consoles. Ppl will speculate of better specs and delay purchases, or better.. get a ps3 for now

sonys getting fucked over in the console race i think MS is sitting back and watching the wii kick the shit out of the PS3 for now and then they will pull this one out, maybe
