At No.3 Some people find it difficult to do the firmware method change, & also not everyone has the hardware to it! Inc me lol so im gonna keep an eye in thie nme chip :)
to no.4 if you play backups the mod will need to patch the firmware o M$ will find out, 99% of people getting the mod have no intention on playing originalls, to no.6 you just need a sata motheboard which you or a friend nower days must have and its preety standart and everything else software wise is availeble here, people that say i dont know how to do it is that they never tried and are scared and if that is the question then you really should’nt be here.

MS have the ability to check the hardware as soon as you sign in, this may not happen on every occassion but, it can be done. modchips or firmware hacks can be detected, but judging by their hardware sales, i very much doubt MS will want to start banning users, we may start to see warning e-mails. Basically, now that its hackable sales will hit the roof
The good thing about the firmware hack is that its free when you have the knowledge to do it. The bad thing about the chip is that you will have to pay for it and its not up for sale yet.
I’m more concerned about how to improve ROM burning on the DL dvds…. so we dont make coasters etc…
also some dumps doesnt work (even ss pre-patched)
waste of bandwidth + DL dvds :)
think ill stick to paying for the games as i use live most days…… oh well probally in the long run ill save money as when i had a modded xbox i had over 500 games which 98% i never played which cost me an average of £3.00 each!! do the math….
we need a modchip with a usb port to connect to pc to backup the game.no point for the mod if you cant backup your game without openning up the xbox 360 or you own dvd drive.

#3 - Read number 6, it also allows you to turn off the mod, without reflashing!! Much better
#13 - there are pics of bigger HD with backups running from it, alledgedly from a good source, lets keep an eye open on that!

i bricked 1 of my 360z just messing around with firware, if i get the chip will it work again?? if so, will it only work under the chips firware? i have my original firware backed up.
