Many useful tutorials available in the x-scene forums.

Simply GREAT! Now we want noobs tutorials :D
Has anyone attempted this yet? It sounds enticing, however, I don’t wanna ruin a $400 system without any word on getting it setup.
well, if you read the last few articles, they do show how to install these to your Xbox 360 DVD drive and create this false firmware
has anyone tested this on the new updates…..
it works the only problem is burning backups and playing them. Does not work with all dvd-dl types. So far for us it has not worked at all. Plays all original games but no backups. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.
I have the Hitachi with the 46D. I ran the update and it worked fine. You have to wait a bit (2 secs) after each pause, or else it will fail that step. I went too fast for it.
I also cannot make a backup of any of my games. I’ve tried Ridata, Fujifilm, and Verbatim discs, all dumped using the hotswap method (wxripper) and some ss files I found online for the right region. Merged them and burnt using dvd decrypter. I always get the Dirty Disc Error, but no one I know has any backed up games to test… sooo I don’t actually know if it works.. what a piss off.

what system game you trying to backup? ive backed-up xbox 1 games but i didnt know you could get xbox 360 backups.
Just incase you dont know how to backup xbox 1 games, try using xISO. it can burn the backup straight to the dvd.
I have back-ups of almost every 360 game there is. Haven’t tried these hacks though. Scared to mess my shit up.
great job now we need homebrew on 360
How do you get backups of your 360 games?
