IGN has an interesting article about Microsoft’s upcoming spring cleaning of Xbox Live. An exact date has not yet been specified but it is rumoured to be next week sometime. Makes you wonder if there will be anything that address’s the recent DVD-ROM firmware hacks? Will you be updating your Xbox 360 live?
Next week’s spring update is filled with dozens more additions, such as the ability to see the battery charge level of a backward compatible game on the Guide blade, easier to find themes, and more.
I’ll definitely update my 360! After reading the article, it’ll be a lot of MUCH needed fixes that annoys the heck outta me when trying to play. Is M$oft actually listening to it’s customers now??? Probably not…
Will have to buy a extra xbox 360. Keep one for hacks and one for xbox live. No problems !

What battery are they talking about? (with the backwards compatible games)
In the tope right corner or is it the left? doesn’t matter anyway there is, when you go into your xbox360 guide (thats what happens when you press the 360 logo button) there is a battery symbol showing how much battery your “Wire-less” controller has left before shutting off during a Halo 2 match, or what ever your doing on your 360.
yeah ill definatlyu update.. why bother hacking its sorta dumb now like nothing new all thesame stuff the xbox 1 could do exept for linux its just dumb.. and yeah u can leave the fuckin download screen when u download stuff and download up to 6 things at once so yeah im updating

I wouldn’t worry about it too much….Think Live makes a hardware check…Firmware update on the DVD ……that would get a little messy for them :)…Load it up.

FUKC ILLIGALLY DOWNLOADING AND RUNNING GAMES THE UPDATE IS SWEET SO MUCH BETTER STUFF TO DO WITH THE MARCKETPLACE AND NOW WE CAN USE THE CAMERA FOR THE 360! YAAY!
