Datel has come up with a better memory solution than the memory unit (aka memory card), and would be the 4 Gig hard drive that plugs into the usb port. It’s only 2cm, by 5, by 5.7, and is under four onces. So not very big, and not very heavy, but the price is $149
Datel was in the news earlier with their hard drive for the Sony PSP. Now they offer a hard drive for the popular Xbox 360. The 4Gb hard drive acts like a Flash drive for the Xbox 360, it connects via USB 2.0 to the 360. It does not require any external power source and has a green glowing power Xbox 360 button on the case. However with a litte tweaking you can connect any USB 2.0 external hard drive to the Xbox 360. The Datel XBox 360 4GB is compact and weighs only 4 ounces.

i thought usb was read only meaning it cant be written to. this would result in not being able to save to any usb devices

ill tell you wat, its a redesigned psp 4g hdd, reason behind it they couldent ship the for psp because they are crap with crap write speeds. redesgned in a new case to look shiney.

Ok! All you are fucking stupid! Especially number one! This is a USB hard drive! Look at the picture, is says holds 1000 songs and 1000000 pictures and whatever… It is not meant to save games to! It is not possible. USB is read only for the 360! This is pointless, it is just like every other USB hard drive, except smaller, and more expensive. go to best buy, get a 300GB USB HDD and plug it into your 360, it will be exactly the same. You cannot save anything to it from the 360, you have to plug it into a PC and transfer songs onto i that way, and pictures. It is pointless, you cannot even put videos on it because the 360 (at the point in time) cannto read videos from USB, only from a PC running windows XP Media Center Edition. This would not replace the HDD made from Microsoft for your Xbox because you need that to save games, but it would just hold music off your PC. FUCKING POINTLESS!!!!

How do I save games to any USB hard drive or device besides Microsofts? I herd it is possible but where can I find out how to do it?
I’m really disappointed about the slow updates here, no hack are being developped for the console !?!??
