Paulus, from Xbox-scene.com, has accomplished an extremely cool mod!
I got my watercooled 360 finished this week. I made a waterblock to cover both the CPU and GPU and the pump is fitted internally. The reason I put it on the left side is the right side has a metal plate across it and I didnt want to start cutting it. It also seems to be easier to put the casing back together with it on the left side.
Yay! First!
Sounds good, but I don’t feel like risking my 360 on mods.

Eh.. I would do this, but I don’t feel like nulling my warranty. Plus, I have a new verson of the 360. Problems don’t occur in mine like in the first ones.

This is a cool idea except that the 360 is *already* water cooled. Nice try, though. They managed to make it look… interesting, at least.
16. the 360 isn’t already water cooled plus the actual console sucks, it’s heavy, hot noisy, and the graphics are’nt that good, some of the games look like current game console graphics. U should have waited for the ps3 dumbasses lol.
The 360 has a water cooled processor. Open one up. You’ll see that. Also, the first gen games never look good. That’s why I’m not buying into them.
What are you guys smoking? That’s pretty cool. I have an Xbox 360 and it’s fucking loud as hell. I just got it for the Xbox live. The PS3 is going to be so expensive. That’s why I have to wait a while after the release to buy it. Making the 360 more quiet is a good idea. Plus, that one guy was right about the launch games. They were close the current gen graphics. I liked PGR3′s graphics. The Xbox 360 games with real next gen graphics so far are Perfect Dark Zero, and definately Ghost Recon 3 (G.R.A.W.) PLus the power cable is fucking huge. I can’t wait till I get a revolution that’s around the size of the power cable, and is quiet. That shit won’t heat up like the Xbox 360 either. You don’t need graphics the win the next gen war. YOU NEED GAMEPLAY AND INNOVATION! Plus, Nintendo might not have a system as powerful as the Xbox 360, but they can make games with amazing graphics.

Why all the hate? Are all of you jealous? So what the guy wanted a cooler and quieter xbox. And to hell with warranty, the warranty is a joke anyway. The guy who built that probably had a good feeling when he finished it. And who cares what people do to their xboxs, they pay for them they can do whatever they want with them. Thats all, stop the hate. If you dont like what he did then post your idea, and just because he did it doesn’t mean everybody has to. I for one think it looks great and if he did everything right it should lower some temps. The install is very clean and he used what looks to be like quality components. I say good job man keep it up
1. Kinda cool looking, but space taking, not good for small house
2. if you have freakin heat problems, don’t put you nice hot burrito or cup of coffee near the xbox, bad bad idea, otherwise get a job and don’t play so much
3. if it screws up, your warranty is ruined already and your xbox is too, not worth the trouble
4. if it screws up on its own, you get to send it back (though usually they can’t fix it) and you geta chance to yell at microsoft and join a group to fight against this major game consloe issue!
