Well, sounds good, if i could do it i would.

Well, it is a quite intresting thing to do. Couse I woundr about 007 savegame exploit that had worked on xbox1. Maybe -if 007 works on xbox360- a new exploit for xbox360 “could” be available.

I’m not a hacker, maybe this is a silly comment, but I don’t see why wouldn’t be this an attack vector.

since the xbox 360 has a total different hardware architecture I don’t really think that this flaw of the original xbox can be exploited in any way … but maybe there will be another game, but before that first we need a cracked (!!!) Eprom Flash and there is non out YET

I think no one has YET tried to load the exploit save of agent under fire.

I know that the same thing wont work, but it may solve some problems.Xbox and Xbox360 runs unsigned code. The exploit DID run, becouse some the games (007 agent under fire, for example) contain some errors. If xbox360 runs savegames from xbox original, than the error is STILL exsiting. That is why i smell a new exploit, based on the original xbox exploit. So,
if someone tryes to load the exploited savegame of agent under fire, and xbox 360 SHOWS the savegame, than it IS attackable with exploit.

i think some of the finer details are missing. like any physical activities on how the 360 will find the save from the xbox 1 harddrive.

Yeh, this is fucking horrible. Someone slap him, then make him write a DESCENT tutorial.

I have found a useful utility,
it makes this little savegame copy thing easyer.
It can handle xbox and xbox360 format hard drives.
No need that fancy thing upp there to copy new files on xbxo360 harddrive. Just read how can cou connect an xbox original drive to a pc. Same trick is good to bypass the hdd lock protection of xbox360. Then fatxplorer helps to copy new files.
If You have your xbox pached to run some xbox original games, then You will find
\Compatibility\Xbox1
directory.
This method is a lot more easyer.

But how in the world is it possible to view the contents of x360 hdd on a pc….

How is it possible to put the save file in the appropriate folder on xbox360 hdd? Please explain….

If some jackasses like the person who jacked the save file can do it, why cant they say what tools they used and a detailed list of steps to do it?

i assume he means take yer 360hd apart and plug in eother a usb sata cable o one on a pc.
since the 360 hd is onle a hitachi travelstar sata drive.

now all we need is sata hookups…

i am going to save it- even from getting Backward compatibility updates….

Who knows….f**$%#& M$ in its effort to prevent hacking with most likely include some type of shit with the BC updates that will increase the security of the already shitty software on X360 HD.

If in future some genious “invents” a code or software that can be loaded up on HD (by CD) that will help play burnt games… I will be fucked as these first waves of HD are the most vulnerable..

… most vulnerable and will be more easier to dump the hacked software on HD without the HD shitting out an error page on the screen saying in 21 different languages that i fucked something up and need to contact customer care..
