A video has surfaced on YouTube of someone doing a disc swap on an xbox 360 that has it’s top casing removed. The video is poor quality but doesn’t appear to have any edits or moments of the camera pointing somewhere else. What do you think? Is this the real deal?

but otherwise looks totally real to me cant see how it could be fake - u can see the same disc spinning the whole time

ok this is confirmed to be 100% fake so dont bother. Unless you want to brick your xbox360.
Does work. You need a US 360 though. WOrks for me.. tried so far with a back-up of Kameo and Fifa.

Looks real,but looks kinda tricky to do,and how about disc scratching.
Works for me as well I have booted pgr madden and kameo doing this
looks no trickier that when u had to do a swap on the old PS1…thats if its not a fake of course..
well it seems pretty useless to me since you have to have the retail version of the game you wanna hotswap with-so while its proof of theory,even though i belive its just playing from its cache,it absolutly useless
Not completely true #14. What if you and a friend want to play the same thing on two different Xbox’s? It may not system link or get online but no one has tried that yet…and say you both wanted to play Condemend or another one player game at the same time? This could help…
i dont think its worth the trouble of opening up ur xbox and swapping the disc while your system is running. Just to play a backup of the game you already have. Useless shit.

Hey #14 i dont think u need to use the real game but i think u can use the demo disk that u get from xbox 360 kiosks.
in the video, that guy seems to back-up game on a cd-rw disc?

I beleive it’s a DVD-R ;)
ive tried copying the iso to dvd+r and dvd-r with dvd decrypter, no luck.. ive got a european 360 please help..
i think it onley works on usa ones
#26, it cant be a dvd-r it cleary shows RW, could be a DVD-RW.

you have to burn the iso using Alcohol 120% it works perfectly with my european xbox 360
watch closley when he puts in the disk, it is stopped and the disks are swiched

if so can you use one retail game disc example doa4 you have then switch with any backed up game disc example oblivion not just a backup of the retail game disc example doa4?
