Is this real?! I’d simply assume it’s fake - the video demonstrates the Xbox360 being hacked using some PSP homebrew. Check it out and judge for yourself.

I have to say it looks quite convincing if you’re not paying complete attention, theres at least 3 cuts in it, the main one being where the dashboard disappears & the supposed code appears on screen. It’s an obvious cut, which suggests this is totally fake, otherwise there would be no cuts. Shame, looks like it could have been kinda cool.
I just wonder what’s the point? do you know that group or guy who said it’s gonna get published on the 28th?Realeasing a major PSP bricker?
He sure wants to be make a lot of people know about it’s release, for bigger impact either positive(more Xbox360 hacked) or negative (more psp bricked).
I was in the first to try the downgrader for the PSP, god bless it wasn’t a briker, but i’m sure gonna pass on that one (i don’t even have a XBOX360)
He is a 1337 hacker with microsoft pwning skillz, yet he uses microsoft windows movie maker to edit his video. The explosion at the end is a preset transition in wmm

Calm down all. No need to flame. I’ve learned to take “videos” with a grain of salt since the PSP 2.0 downgrader scandals. I’d say lets wait until there’s some sort of larger beta test that many people can vouch for its realness or fakeness.

It would be something if it was real, but more and more things point that it is a joke…
Why didn’t they use a second xbox and keeped this outside the video so you can’t see any cuts?

Can’t everyone realize after the burned disc that was placed into the xbox 360, the video footage was cut? Take a good look again and tell me if you think this really is a real hack. Sorry but I do not beleive this at all. Second of all, if Microsoft can catch ppl online with xbox live with a hacked xbox system, they can do the same with a hacked 360. Think about it and watch the video again.

This video popped up all over the net today. It shows someone using a hacked PSP to run some Xbox 360 exploit. A burnt copy of Perfect Dark Zero proceeds to boot.
If you watch the video with your eyes open you will clearly see that this is FAKE. You can see the camera cuts right after he puts in the burnt DVD, and right before he takes it back out. Also, why the heck would the first Xbox 360 exploit involve a PSP? Seems a little too 1337 to me. So please, let’s stop this rumor in it’s tracks.
well the code on the 360 was just a piscture and what was the end result a dvd with the pdz intro on it.
After close observation,i can make out exactly what the excecutable is on the PSP.It is quite simply the IR remote application(if you printscreen it and take a closer look the screen says ‘iCybie’.)…quite obviously after this i am not optimistic about this hack or any other hack this team claims.The other funny thing i noticed was the fact it said ”Fuck Microsoft” at the end,this is very wise coming from someone who has used MICROSOFT XP to edit the video and is using a MICROSOFT xbox 360…i just don’t get some people

Guys the Xbox360 wont recognise the PSP unless the PSP is in USB mode. in the video the PSP is not in USB mode on the PSP. i hope its real but its very highly doubtful that it is real. i hope i am proved wrong.

The PSP was not indeed in USB mode. They probably put a UMD with an xbox programing in it and the PSP not being connected.
When the Progrma loads up on the PSP USB mode may be automatically started like in some loaders :S just stop saying its fake or its real! who cares. its Christmas! if it is real its a chrismtas present. if it is fake youve not lost anything except 6 days of your life ! complaining about it!
29 not actually true, fangitas iso loader for the 1.50 version firmware put the psp through the usb connection without going through the usb connection. it is possible.
I am a PSP user and never knew fanjita had a iso loader for 1.50. humma kavulla, dev hook, umd emulator only work on 1.50 fanjita has a 2.0 homebrew loader 0.9. i have 2 1.5 psp’s so dont use fanjitas loaders as i dont need them. i hope the hack is genuine.
After watching the video twice i was able to pick out 3 different cuts..if you pay close attention to the border tv frame you will see the first cut when it switches from the 360 dashboard to the psp code when the switch occurs the border of the tv isn’t lined up evenly. second cut occurs when it switches from the psp code screen back to the 360 dashboard once again if u watch the frame of the tv closely you will notice it. third cut occurs immediately right after he puts the disk in… it will kind of zoom into it.. sad to say it.. but this video is a fake as most of you have already noticed..

Guys, only time will tell, no long to go now… so before slagging video off - just wait a couple days and see what happens, if I was the author of a hack for the x360 and released news and it got slagged, I would think twice before I released it to the public.. so instead of slagging be more postive until proved otherwise..

it’s so faked i can’t believe it. just watch the video, and notice the jumps when the “hacked” display shows up on the tv. same when he inserts the traxdata disc. really poor editing.
