1up.com has put together an interesting list of similarities between the dreamcast and the xbox 360. The writer does not think that Xbox 360 will share the dreamcast’s fate. Just to sum it up for you here is the list go to the full article if you want pictures to go along with them.

Those are some goodpoints but i do not believe that the 360 willhave the same fate as the dreamcast either. Many consumers are really looking forward to this system. there is no way it is gonna fall off the face of the planet like the segaDC.

haha well ill tell you this, id rather buy a boy with known to work hardware in it, then a risky untested new tech box like the ps3, if i do get a ps3, which i probably will, it will be after 3 months or so, cause i dont want to be one of the idiots that get it launch date, basically becoming a test lab for sony, cause they dont want to do substantial testing before they actually release it.
I really dont think you can compare anything until you can actually try them both out. I think that the ps3 will be better just because it is coming out later and they can fix up the things that microsoft fucked up on. and xbox really wasnt big on the games, only a few big titles. but anyways, no one really knows until they are both out.
im just gonna skip the senseless flaming and get both systems. end of story =/. unless microsoft comes up with a handheld system, then id compare and contrast with my psp. oh wait… they do have handhelds.. i think its called laptops.. =X

not to mention that a few of the more key points made in this were made could be made about the ps2 whcih was the only profitable console of its generation.
I play Ghost Recon SS and now I play GRAW on 360 an you have some guys that move fast as hell and I know they don’t have turbos because there is none for 360, I am wondering how do they move so fast. Please let me know and if there is a way to mod my controller or XBOX let me know. Thanx :)
