Apparently Microsoft will be releasing two Xbox 360 packages for launch later this year.
The basic package will retail for $299 – it lacks a hard disk and will not include a wireless controller.
The other package will retail for $399 – it includes a 20GB hard disk, one wireless controller, a wireless headset, ethernet cable and remote control.
No release date has been revealed, but a mid to late November date is expected.

The basic Xbox 360, dubbed the Core System, will retail for $299 in the US, 299 euros in Europe and £209 in the UK.
The fully loaded console with all the accessories will sell for $399, 399 euros an £279.
As per usual, we in the UK are being shafted on the cost for the hardware. Compared to the USA and Japan .

everybody knows if you are true gamer you will get all 3 :360,ps3 and lets not forget revolution. besides the xbox will learn there lesson and not try the cheap no hard drive shit waste of money makeing to systems. after playstation lays what they have on the table it will be better than the xbox hard drive. I just hope microsoft fixed the kinks on this one I went through three xbox’s dame system froze up like crazy.
sony hasnt made any improvement. how? they havent realeased any actual gameplay or all the features for it. plus with the crappy online service and high prices, it will BLOW!
if you go to the xbox 360 website it says how many days are left till launch which right now it says “23 days left” from today that must mean it’s going to launch november 21st hopefully it’s accurate
