Gamesindustry.biz is running an article titled “Microsoft warns of possible Xbox 360 shortages”. It details how MicroSoft thinks that the Xbox 360 will be so huge that they won’t be able to meet demand. I think this is just a publicity stunt to hype up their next system before launch. Sony said some similar things about the PSP before it launched and they had more then enough, which is how it should be I hate having to stay up all night in long lines just to get a product because not enough were made.
very true. I had reserved my psp and when i got to the store they had a huge pile of them and at least half of them werent reserved
I got my psp from circuit city with no problem, they had a huge crate of them. Bestbuy was sold out that day, but had them in stock the very next day.
Ill wait for PS3 thank you. PS3 is the real next generation.

does anybody know if the old xbox games will work on the 360

the only reason they think there may not be enough is because they need to ship them to the US, Europe and Japan in relatively close dates. I don’t think if you pre-ordered you won’t have to worry, it’s the people who havent and are camping outside Gamestop.
I’m really worried over here in the UK because everywhere is warning of taking preorders for their second batch.
I found with psp that if you went to highstreet stores who didnt specialise in electronic entertainment then they had a few consoles spare. I hope this is the case with the 360
Actually, I work at a best buy. Microsoft was suppose to send 360,000 X-boxes to the entire chain, however we are being shorted by quite a bit. Only getting 40,000 in which equates to about 20-30 units per store.
true fact!!!! game stores (EB) were going to get 50 units. theye are now getting 5-35 per store…. make sure your on the first list… most stores have 2 lists!!! i personally know a manager… and tons of people will be screwed!!! - Master
if you cancel your pre-order, then go to a place that doesnt specialize in electronics. for example, Target or Walmart
I pre ordered in june and was told I will not get one on opening day, maybe by christmas but for sure in the spring.. (yippy-ding)…(from game stop) They told me they were gitting around 20 I was pre-order # 45(give or take) My local walmart said they only have 18 I think I’ll go play the lottery instead of waiting in line
